The Mother-Daughter Makeover

The cool evening air wrapped around Marie as she stood in front of the mirror, her eyes widening in amazement at the transformation Aélita had worked on her face. “Marie, stop wiggling, I’m almost done,” Aélita said, her voice laced with patience.

Marie chuckled, feeling a bit self-conscious. “Sorry, I’m just nervous.”

Aélita smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “I know, baby doll, but when I get through, you’re going to look drop dead gorgeous.”

Suddenly, Simon’s voice echoed from the sitting area, causing Marie and Aélita to laugh. “She already looks drop dead gorgeous, Aélita. You’re just enhancing it.”

Aélita grinned, handing Marie a compact mirror. “There, I’m done. Take a look.”

Marie’s eyes widened as she gazed at her reflection, her hair styled in loose waves and her makeup accentuating her features. “I look like a goddess, or at least how I imagine they would look.”

Aélita smiled, her eyes shining with approval. “Yes, you do.”

With a gentle nudge, Aélita sent Marie off to change, while she worked on her own hair and makeup.

About an hour and a half later, as they made their way to the bar, Marie felt a flutter in her chest. She had no idea what the night held, but she was excited to find out.

As they entered the bar, Marie’s eyes scanned the room, her heart skipping a beat when she spotted Theo and Simon chatting by the bar. But it was the man standing beside them, his eyes locked onto hers, that made her heart stop.

“Marie,” Jeremy said, his voice low and husky, as he pushed away from the bar and strode towards her.

Marie’s heart skipped a beat as Jeremy’s eyes locked onto hers, a look of shock and hope etched on his face.

“What are you doing here?” Jeremy asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Marie smiled, feeling a sense of mischief wash over her. “Looking for you.”

Without warning, Marie closed the gap between them, her lips brushing against Jeremy’s in a soft, gentle kiss. The world around her melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the moment.

Jeremy’s eyes widened, a look of surprise and delight crossing his face. “I wasn’t expecting that,” he said, his voice rough with emotion.

Marie smiled, feeling a sense of liberation wash over her. “I know, neither was I.”

As they stood there, locked in a silent understanding, Jeremy’s lips curved into a smile, and he pulled Marie into his arms, his lips crashing down on hers in a passionate kiss.

The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the moment, their lips moving in perfect sync.

Later, as they sat in Jeremy’s truck, the radio playing softly in the background, Marie felt a sense of calm wash over her. She had no idea what the night held, but she was excited to find out.

“What’s your favorite kind of music?” Jeremy asked, his eyes locked onto hers.

Marie smiled, feeling a sense of connection to this man. “I listen to all kinds of music, just depends on my mood.”

“Nice,” Jeremy said, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. “I’m a country boy at heart.”

Marie laughed, feeling a sense of ease with Jeremy. “I can see that.”

As the night wore on, Marie found herself opening up to Jeremy, sharing stories and laughter, feeling a sense of connection she had never felt before.

It wasn’t until they pulled into the parking lot of a small burger joint that Marie realized how much time had passed. The night was young, and she was having the time of her life.

As they sat in the truck, waiting for their food, Marie felt a sense of contentment wash over her. She had no idea what the future held, but she was excited to find out.

“Do you want to come back to my hotel with me?” Marie asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jeremy smiled, his eyes locked onto hers. “Maybe watch a movie, talk some more.”

Marie’s heart skipped a beat as Jeremy’s eyes crinkled at the corners, a look of amusement crossing his face.

“Sorry, I got a little carried away,” Jeremy said, his voice rough with emotion.

Marie smiled, feeling a sense of understanding wash over her. “It’s okay.”

As they walked into the hotel room, Marie felt a sense of excitement wash over her. She had no idea what the night held, but she was ready for anything.

Without warning, Marie jumped up, her lips brushing against Jeremy’s in a soft, gentle kiss.

The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the moment, their lips moving in perfect sync.

Later, as they lay in bed, wrapped in each other’s arms, Marie felt a sense of contentment wash over her. She had no idea what the future held, but she was excited to find out.

“We didn’t use any protection,” Jeremy said, his voice rough with emotion.

Marie’s eyes widened, a look of concern crossing her face. “I’m not on the pill. I haven’t taken it in years.”

Jeremy’s eyes locked onto hers, a look of understanding washing over him. “It’s alright. If anything happens, I’ll be there.”

Marie smiled, feeling a sense of reassurance wash over her. “That means a lot to me.”

As they lay there, wrapped in each other’s arms, Marie felt a sense of peace wash over her. She had no idea what the future held, but she was excited to find out.

Later, as they drifted off to sleep, Marie felt a sense of contentment wash over her. She had found something special with Jeremy, and she was excited to see where it would take her.

The sound of footsteps echoed outside the room, followed by a knock at the door. Jeremy jumped up, throwing on a pair of boxers, and made his way to the door.

When he opened it, he was greeted by Simon’s smiling face. “Hey, man. Sorry to interrupt. I forgot about you and Aélita.”

Jeremy chuckled, feeling a sense of amusement wash over him. “No worries, dude. Come on in.”

As they chatted, Marie stirred, her eyes opening to find Jeremy sitting beside her, a look of concern etched on his face.

“What’s wrong?” Marie asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jeremy smiled, his eyes locked onto hers. “Nothing’s wrong. I just needed to check on you.”

Marie smiled, feeling a sense of reassurance wash over her. “I’m fine. Just tired.”

As they drifted off to sleep, wrapped in each other’s arms, Marie felt a sense of peace wash over her. She had found something special with Jeremy, and she was excited to see where it would take her.
