The Author’s Pride and Validation: A Relationship Between Creator and Reader

As I poured over the comments, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and validation. My erotic fiction stories had touched the lives of so many people, and it showed in their words.

X-MAN215’s enthusiastic “YAH LOVE” was the first comment I saw, and it made me smile. But it was the thoughtful comments that followed that really caught my attention.

“This was great I read all and I an waiting for more” Anonymous reader wrote, their words filled with genuine affection for my work. I felt a surge of gratitude towards them, and the others who had taken the time to leave comments.

“I’ve redd and reread all of your stories, Hope to see meany more!” Anonymous reader exclaimed, their love for my stories evident in every word. It was comments like these that made all the hard work worth it.

But not everyone was a fan of my romantic style. Anonymous reader wrote, “I love your stories man, but the romantic talk is too overdone.” I took their criticism to heart, recognizing that not everyone shared my taste in fiction.

Another reader, Anonymous reader, pointed out a few grammar mistakes, but still managed to praise my storytelling. “You need to work on your spelling, it’s not inpatient but Impatient and that is a turn off for anybody who hates grammar mistakes, but the story is nice.” I made a mental note to proofread more carefully in the future.

As I continued to read through the comments, I noticed a theme emerging. Many of my readers were eager for more, and some were even speculating about the plot. “well, according to the end of this chapter it loks l9ike there should be more to come…………. we now have rto find out what his fafher found………” Anonymous reader wrote, their excitement infectious.

It was comments like these that reminded me why I wrote erotic fiction in the first place – to connect with my readers, to create a sense of community and shared experience. And as I sat there, surrounded by the words of my fans, I felt grateful and inspired to keep writing.

“I love the love.” Anonymous reader wrote, their simple phrase a powerful reminder of the impact my stories could have on people’s lives. I smiled, feeling a sense of pride and purpose.
