My Stepsister’s Influence and the Neighborhood

I gazed at my wife, her back to me as she rummaged through her wardrobe. The curve of her hips and the gentle swing of her arms sent a familiar warmth through my chest. It was a sensation I’d grown accustomed to over the years, one that reminded me of why I fell in love with her in the first place.

“Who is this babysitter?” I asked, breaking the silence. My wife shot me a look, her expression a mix of amusement and annoyance. “Language,” she reminded me, her voice laced with a hint of playfulness.

“She’s Claire’s daughter,” she said, her eyes never leaving mine. I nodded, taking in the information. “Claire has a daughter?” I asked, my curiosity piqued. My wife smiled, a knowing glint in her eye. “For about twenty years now. You really need to learn the art of conversation, people say things and you listen. Then you say things and they listen.”

“I listen to you,” I said, my voice low and husky. “If I listened to anybody else, there wouldn’t be room in my head for work.” My wife chuckled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “We’ve been over this, Chris. I’m not the only one who deserves your attention.”

I sighed, feeling a familiar pang of guilt. We’d been married for seven years, but our sex life had been…sporadic, to say the least. It wasn’t that we didn’t find each other attractive – we did, deeply. But with our busy schedules and demanding careers, it seemed like we were always just out of sync.

As I watched my wife get dressed, I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of longing. She was a beautiful woman, with a body that still took my breath away. I’d known her for years, but it was only now that I realized just how lucky I was to have her in my life.

“You know, you’re not getting any younger,” she said, her voice teasing as she caught me staring. I felt my face heat up, but I couldn’t help it. I was drawn to her like a magnet.

“I’ll try to keep up,” I said, my voice low and husky. My wife smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “I’ll hold you to that.”

Just then, the doorbell rang, shattering the intimate mood. I groaned, feeling a pang of disappointment. “Awh, Jesus,” I muttered, pushing myself away from the desk. My wife laughed, her voice husky as she slapped me on the thigh. “Go and answer it,” she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

I stood up, feeling a familiar rush of excitement. Who was this babysitter, anyway? And why did I feel like my world was about to get turned upside down?

As I stood in the shower, the warm water cascading down my body, I couldn’t help but think about the conversation I’d just had with Claire. I’d called her earlier, asking if Julia would be available to watch Jack for a couple of hours, and she’d agreed, telling me she’d be there at one.

Twenty minutes later, I was out of the shower and getting dressed, when I heard the doorbell ring. I quickly wrapped a towel around my waist and made my way downstairs to answer it. That’s when I saw Julia, standing on the porch with a big smile on her face.

“Hello, Mister Derrick,” she said, holding out a bag of fruit. “Sorry I’m a little early, my mum dropped me off on her way to work.” I stepped aside, allowing her to enter the house.

As she walked in, I couldn’t help but notice the way her short denim skirt hugged her thighs, or the way her yellow tube top showcased her toned stomach. And then there were her green bikini straps, peeking out from under her top.

“I’m thinking you like yellow,” I said, trying to sound casual.

“My favourite colour,” she replied, grinning. Jack, who had been watching from the top of the stairs, suddenly appeared and smiled at Julia, and I could tell he was already fond of her.

“Right, well, I’m going to go and get dressed,” I said, heading for the stairs. But Julia called out to me, her voice tinged with apology.

“Mister Derrick, I just wanted to thank you for having me back after last time. I’m really sorry—”

“Julia, it’s fine,” I interrupted, not wanting to revisit the conversation from last time.

“I wasn’t watching the news,” she said, her response leaving me baffled. I gave her a nod and continued up the stairs, Jack following close behind.

As I reached the top, I noticed a framed picture of Ellie and me on the wall, next to the TV. But then I saw Julia, holding Jack and looking up at me with a mischievous glint in her eye, and I realized that she must have moved it. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I wondered what was going on.

“Don’t mind the mess, I’ll clean it up,” I said, trying to sound nonchalant.

“Thanks,” Julia replied, winking at me before walking away.

I took a deep breath and tried to shake off the feeling of unease that was growing inside me. But as I made my way back downstairs, I couldn’t help but notice the way Julia’s yellow tube top seemed to be clinging to her body, or the way her short skirt seemed to be tantalizing me with every step.

“Following your lead in fashion,” I said, trying to sound light-hearted.

“I look forward to you next opening the door in a skirt,” she replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

I grinned, feeling a spark of attraction towards her. “That could be the next step, you know,” I said, trying to tease her.

“Yeah, either a skirt or one day you walk on me with your hand down my pants,” I laughed, feeling a sense of playfulness that I hadn’t felt in a long time.

Julia smirked, and for a moment, I thought I saw a glint of something else in her eyes. Something that made me wonder if she was playing a game with me, or if she was simply being flirtatious.

But before I could explore that thought any further, I had to get out of there, before I ended up standing before her with another hard-on.

“Well, I shouldn’t be long,” I said, heading for the door.

“Bye,” she replied, her voice husky and seductive.

As I drove back home, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that I was in over my head. But at the same time, I couldn’t deny the attraction that I felt towards Julia. It was like nothing I’d ever experienced before, and I wasn’t sure if I was ready for it.

When I arrived home, I was greeted by the sight of Julia and Jack splashing in the pool. Julia was wearing a green bikini that left little to the imagination, and I couldn’t help but feel a surge of attraction towards her.

“Hi,” she called out, wiping water from her nose. “Hey there,” I replied, feeling a sense of unease.

“How’s he been?” I asked, trying to sound casual.

“A babe as always,” she replied, smiling.

As I stood there, watching her, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of attraction towards her. It was like she was radiating this aura of confidence and sexiness that was impossible to ignore.

But as I looked at her, I saw something else too. Something that made me feel a pang of guilt. I saw a woman who was clearly attracted to me, and I saw a woman who was clearly not interested in Ellie.

And as I stood there, frozen in indecision, I knew that I had to make a choice. I could either ignore my feelings and try to get to know Julia better, or I could try to make things work with Ellie.

But as I stood there, watching Julia and Jack splashing in the pool, I knew that I had a long and difficult road ahead of me. A road that would take me down a path of desire and temptation, and one that would ultimately change my life forever.

“Julia, should’ve sorted towels before jumping in the pool,” I called out, trying to sound nonchalant.

“Sorry!” she replied, jogging past me with Jack in tow.

As I watched them, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease. I didn’t know what was going on with Julia, but I knew that I had to tread carefully.

And then, as I stood there, I saw something that made my heart skip a beat. I saw Julia’s breast, exposed and tantalizing, and I felt a sense of desire that I couldn’t ignore.

“Thanks,” she said, awkwardly covering herself up.

“I’m sorry for looking,” I told her, feeling a sense of shame.

“It’s okay,” she replied, smiling awkwardly.

As I turned to leave, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of confusion. I didn’t know what was going on with Julia, but I knew that I had to get to the bottom of it.

And as I made my way back to my office, I couldn’t help but think about the conversation I was going to have with Ellie when she got home.

As I sat at my desk, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was off. It had been about half an hour since I’d spoken to Ellie, and I’d mentioned to her that I thought Julia was attracted to her. Ellie had found it amusing, but I couldn’t help but wonder if I was reading too much into it.

“Really?” Ellie had asked, her voice laced with amusement. “You sure about this?” I shot back, feeling a bit defensive. “Anyway, what time do you think you’ll be getting back?” I asked, trying to steer the conversation back on track. “Not sure, about five?” I looked at the clock, it was about three twenty now. “Okay, well I’ll order some food for six. I’ll see you later honey.”

Just as I hung up the phone, Julia knocked on the door. She poked her head round, holding up a bottled water. She looked a bit uncertain, and I wondered if she was thinking about saying something. I waved her in, and my eyes dropped back to the screen as she made her way to my desk.

From the corner of my eye, I could see that she was now wearing just a towel, and it was slipping down her back. She put the bottle down and I shut the lid on my laptop. “Jack okay?” I asked, trying to sound casual. “Yeah, after you told him he sulked for a while in his bed and then dozed off. Swimming must’ve tired him out.”

“That’s fine,” I said, trying to reassure her. “He hasn’t really broken the habit of napping in the afternoon yet.” She leaned against the desk, trying to sit on the edge, but in the process, she knocked over a cup of pens. “Shit,” she spluttered, trying to grab the cup, but in the panic, she lost her grip on the towel.

“Just doesn’t seem to be your day does it?” I said sympathetically, trying to help her pick up the pens. As I looked up, I caught a glimpse of her bare skin, and my heart skipped a beat. She bent over, and I felt my eyes drawn to her…
