Author-Reader Interaction: A Tale of Disagreement

The comments section was filled with a mix of praise and constructive criticism. Some readers were eager to see more of the story, while others pointed out errors in grammar and punctuation.

“I really like this story,” one reader wrote. “Can write a new story a continuation of this one.” Another reader, Brootforce, shared a list of Sean M. Campbell’s works, including “The Return” trilogy and “Saving Mouse”.

However, not everyone was pleased with the story. One reader complained that it was too predictable and boring, and threatened to leave negative reviews to discourage others from reading it.

“What a prick,” the reader wrote. “I had gotten to chapter 13. You really think doing this anyone here is going to go pay at another site to finish it? It had become boring and predictable anyway. As far as I was concerned it was over when Rhys defeated the emperor and crowned the new emperor.”

Another reader, WantSumCandyLittleGirl, suggested that the author work on using proper grammar and punctuation to improve the story.

“Correct words and grammar and punctuation,” the reader wrote.

Wolf_Knight, another reader, offered similar feedback, suggesting that the author use punctuation beyond just quotes and periods to make the story more readable.

“Again, well written,” Wolf_Knight wrote. “Needs some punctuation beyond quotes and periods to make it more readable. Few spelling or word choice errors. Got to read the rest of them.”

Despite the criticism, many readers were enthusiastic about the story and eager to see more. “Wow go on and write 30 more of these stories bro HELL YEAH!” one reader exclaimed.

Another reader, silentsadist, praised the author’s writing style and plot line, saying “I think these stories are awesome. I thoroughly enjoy your writing style and plot line. 95/100 for me, -5 because of spelling errors but I mean come on, who cares about spelling when what you write is good enough to make up for it?”

One reader, Anonymous, simply stated “this one of best stories i have read on any site you have a gift”.

“It’s good,” another reader wrote. “It’s VERY good :-)”

“Amazing stuff! Keep them coming,” another reader exclaimed.

“Yet another awesome chapter,” another reader wrote. “Thank you for writing this series and hope to read more of it soon.”

I must admit, I was taken aback by your scathing review, even after all this time. It’s clear you’d lost interest in the story, and I respect that. However, I wish you’d given me more feedback at the time.

Your decision to use your negative votes to bury the story is understandable, though I’m disappointed you felt that way. It’s been a long time since I’ve thought about Rhys and his epic battle.

As for my writing skills, I appreciate your correction and will strive to improve. I’ve worked tirelessly to hone my craft, and your input is valuable in this process.

Regarding an editing program, I’ve indeed found one that helps me refine my work. It’s an invaluable tool in ensuring my stories are polished and engaging.

I hope you’ll consider giving me another chance in the future. I’d love the opportunity to craft a story that resonates with you.
