The Anonymous Reader’s Insight
As I sat at my desk, staring blankly at my latest erotic fiction piece, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement and trepidation.
The email from my editor had been a surprise, to say the least – a glowing review from an anonymous reader who had taken the time to share their thoughts on my work.
I clicked on the link to read the full comment, my heart racing with anticipation.
“This is a great storyline,” the reader wrote, their words dripping with sincerity. “Some of the themes are shared with your other, unfinished stories.”
My mind began to wander – which stories were they talking about? The ones I’d never quite finished, or the newer ones that I’d been working on in secret?
“Yet, this mystical take on love and goodness, follows a different enough path that… It stands alone quite well.”
I smiled to myself, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. Maybe, just maybe, I was onto something here.
“It’s a great storyline,” the reader continued. “The characters are well-developed, and the plot twists are expertly woven together.”
I felt a surge of gratitude towards this mysterious reader, who had taken the time to share their thoughts on my work.
“Thank you,” I whispered to myself, my fingers flying across the keyboard as I jotted down some notes.
